I have always been fascinated with Glass Art, the way light is reflected in a solid form that can easily break into thousands of tiny pieces. Big names like Lalique have been in the mainstream of anything made of glass, but there are independent artists out there, making their own statement in this fragile craft.
This art reminds me of blue waters and fresh corals. I love the candy-colored glass that reminds me of my lost charm bracelet of colorful murano glass beads.
More About the Artist:

What is Your Philosophy?
My personal objective is to never stop learning, continue to experiment with glass and explore its possibilities without limiting myself to traditional methods. I spent several years working with local elementary schools (artist in residence program) teaching and exploring projects for school/community. I found this experience very rewarding; the children’s enthusiasm and willingness to learn new things without a lot of preconceived ideas was refreshing. My favorite project while working with the children was a glass mural measuring 42”x 90” that is permanently installed in the Brier Public Library.
